And after near a FULL YEAR...I have finally completed my half of an art trade with the talented 
! She asked for a brightly coloured octopus with a skeleton key, and also showed some interest in a squid possibly in the future as matching tattoos. Well, I made you wait forever and a day hun, so you get the squid whether you like it or not c: Sorry for the insane long delay with these guys!
I was really excited about doing the markings on both of these. I kind of wanted to make them tie into the theme of the keys. The octopus has a keyhole on his mantle and the squid has a set of keys going up his mantle with keyholes on the tops of his tenticles. Just to clarify in case they aren't as clear as I had hoped they were c:

These are sooooo pretty. Especially the octopus! He looks like the colors of the earth & the squid is like mars (dunno where the planets came from haha) But these would be wicked tattoo designs. You should considered selling some of your work at tattoo shops
